This set of teachings is focused on posturing ourselves to rightly influence our relationships and community in the midst of a divided country. Emotionally charged opinions and tough questions seem to affect everyone. We are called to pray for our leaders, even when we disagree with them. Many Christians are seeking God’s perspective on how to respond to the current “spiritual civil war” with truth, grace and love. How can we be ministers of reconciliation given the very high levels of vitriol? Is there common ground to be found? Many prophets believe that this is a defining moment for Christ followers to become bridges of peace for God’s Kingdom and messengers of alternative ways to live and govern. These teachings seek to answer these questions and find God’s heart for us at this pivotal time.
